Dance like there was no tomorrow!
Recently I learned that herbs brought me closer to nature and allowed me to understand better how they influenced my body. This all got started as I was cutting the studio lawn and noticed 1,000’s upon 1,000’s of dandelions. It seems that dandelion leaves and roots have been used for centuries to treat the liver, gall bladder, kidneys, and joint problems. Well folks, a word of advice, don’t make tea from the flowers unless you really need a fast acting laxative and plan on staying home the whole weekend. Needless to say I stood for my entire June 30 2011 show starting off with Tony Worrels “everything you do,” Lillo Thomas “let me be yours,” and First Choice’s “great expectations.” This weeks recycled tracks were by Candi Staton performing “young hearts run free”, followed with Nana McLean’s baby bollox remix. The chatroom requests were for The SOS Bands “take your time,” and Chocolate Milks “who’s gettin now.” My hold each other tight track was by The Whispers singing “what will I do.” To the funky fans tuning in from Tokyo, The Falkland’s, and The Turks and Caicos Islands, we dedicated Chic’s “my forbidden lover,” Rodney Skipworth and Phil Turners “make up,” and Raven Symones "double dutch bus" from her recent movie College Road Trip. See you all next time, thank you for tuning in. Requests to studio
