Innovation School of Dance was created in 1998 by Mrs. Geary through the City of Ottawa and it is a dance program that has improved with each passing year. Innovation strives to provide dance instruction in a safe, nurturing, family-oriented environment, that promotes self-confidence and fun!

In 2008, Innovation celebrated its 10th Anniversary, and strove to become a more inclusive community program, celebrating with a Recital entitled Together. This theme is one that we plan to continue focusing on in the years to come!

The Innovation Competitive Team, has successfully participated in local Competitions for the past seven years. In 2008, Innovation scored its highest achievement to date, winning the teams first ever Platinum Medals and scoring no less than 9 over-all high score awards!

In 2009, Innovation re-opened after a year off in which they re-started the business as an official school of dance, now under the ownership of both Tanya Geary and Denise Turpin.
